Giving Thanks

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, and I have been sitting here at my keyboard thinking about the many things I have to be Thankful for.


Wow! What a list.
I am Thankful for....
The people in my life that love and support me...because they make my life meaningful and rewarding. Is there ANY THING better than knowing you are fulfilling your spirit's purpose in being, and having your hands and your heart and your soul held while you are doing it?

I am Thankful for ....
The people in my life that do not love and support me, because with out them, I wouldn't be forced to constantly work to stay in a loving ,better place, and would not have the opportunity to put my beliefs into action. A Double Thank you to them!!!

I am Thankful for each person I have ever known...however brief or long a time.
Somewhere, wherever you are...I hope you know that you taught me, touched me and made me a better person than I was before I knew you.

I am Thankful for my store, because every day, when I open the doors, and hang out my open signs, Magic and wonder begin at that moment, and continue throughout the day. Every day is truly an adventure

I am Thankful to the two wonderful spirits who agreed to accompany me through this life time, and also agreed to let me be the mom this time, my daughters. Their wisdom, strength and love make me want to be super woman for them , always.

I am Thankful for the force of nature that is my granddaughter, the Dancing Wind, with stars in her Gemini eyes.

I am Thankful for my Mother, and how the first time I ever saw how boundless the universe was...it was in her wise, beautiful, passionate eyes.

I am Thankful for my Father...he taught me by not teaching me, and gave me so many things to fight against...in his soul, he may have been the best of all, because he threw obstacles in my way, so that I was forced to go after what I wanted, and in the process...truly know myself.

My husbands, my lovers...thank you for the passion, the love, the care, all the good and all the bad, it made me the woman I am today. I think of each of you with a kindness and fondness that the years only magnify...as I grow older and understand stand my self better, I also understand you all so much better, and with a clarity I never had back then. Thank you for loving me. I loved you, too.


I am Thankful for the man who has been the dearest to me for the better part of 7 years,
through laughter and love, pain and sorrow, reconciliation and compromise, and a deep and loving friendship.
Thank you for the laughter, AND the tears, it seems we have each been the other's teacher , and a more fun schoolmate I could not have dreamed up. You taught me how to play.

On this night before our day of Thanks in America...in my soul, from the top of my head, to bottom of my feet, Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, for my exquisitely perfect life.

Illusions and Prayers

I am writing again.
For the past months, so much has happened, both internally and externally, I have not been able to share my processes on these pages. It has all been wondrous, my joy in my life and my spirit mission gets deeper and more profound every day.
For the past few months, it seems the world has been turned upside down for a great many people , so there are some things I have been directed to write.

Once there were many people thought they had a great deal of money...only....in reality...there was no money. It was all an illusion.

They believed the illusion, and acted in ways that did not benefit other people. There was a great deal of lying, scheming, and cheating going on, and very little regard for the fortunes, or lack thereof ...of others. There was a general feeling of...I've got mine, and the hell with you". This gradually progressed to"I've got mine, and now I am going to get yours, too". So the illusion of wealth, for the most part brought out that which was basest and lowest behaviors that a human could indulge in. Greed, with no generosity. Filling ones pockets at the expense of someone else, with no regard for honesty, or integrity. Frivolous and low spending on needless toys, drugs and sexual addictions. Ridiculous opulence, while average people could not make a living wage, could not send their children to school, could not get medical care.

Literally over night, the illusion of money vanished.
What took it's place was the illusion of poverty, which is ridiculous if you know what REAL poverty is.

The arrogant "haves", then turned into the frightened "have nots" Afraid to move, afraid to spend, afraid to live, crying over the loss of the money that was never real.

Both illusions are a lie.

It has always been true, as Shakespeare said, that... The world truly is just a stage, and we , but players in it.
The people that created the illusions, bought the illusions. Millions of others saw the illusions, and said, every one else is doing it, it must be the thing to do. Every one else is getting it, I need to get mine too, or I will miss out ...or....even worse SOME ONE ELSE WILL GET MINE!

When the illusion crashed, which of course it had to, since there was no real foundation, Every one lost what they thought they had gained...which....in reality, was nothing.

What you had before, which was real, you still have.

You have mobility. You live in America, still the greatest country on Earth. You have the power to move with courage through the illusion of darkness and ruin that is looming over us. You have the power of the prayer of living positively.

We all pray "Oh God, please let me have...this...have him...have her...have it...
That is the spoken prayer, and most times spoken in sadness and negativity, in want...without any regard to what has already been provided, even the simplest blessing of being able to have a mind that can form those thoughts.
The most powerful, effective prayer in the universe is waking up every day, and saying "Thank you for this perfect day" "Thank you for the food on my table, my friends who love me", "Thank you, Thank you, Thank you". "Living the prayer of having every thing in your life that could possibly make you complete.


Believe, and know, that the current down trend is being fueled into reality by fear and negativity. Do not stand still. Do not cower like a hunted rodent.

Laugh, Love, Plan, Move, Give what you can to those truly in need. Clothing, money, food, kind thoughts. Good wishes. Prayers of love and hope for others in REAL need.

Stimulate your home town economy. Get together with your friends and tell good stories...of honor...of hope...of service and dignity. Plan for a beautiful, prosperous and brave future.

Quit drowning your self in pity, fear and addictions. The world may be selling you this illusion, my friend, but you certainly do not have to buy it.

Live the prayer of Love, Joy and Faith in the Universe every day, and you will see the world around you will take sudden turn for the better.

You are the Master after all, the divine spark, the way that God may know Godsself is through you.

Quit looking for a hero and be one.

Through the Looking Glass

What precipitates a spiritual journey?


At what point does one look in his or her own heart to find that a real connection with their higher power, their own divinity, is lacking?


Many people experience this in their places of worship, their churches, mosques and synagogues, where it becomes obvious that the business and politics of organized religion have nothing to do with the simple messages of hope, love, and acceptance that are the basic tenants of a true relationship with any supreme being, no matter what you call him, her, or it. Some people just shut down in their disappointment. They become too cynical and too sad to believe in anything.



Other people start listening to their inner voices, start looking at spiritual paths that traditionally have been ridiculed, feared and denounced by the mainstream religions. They come to the realization that there is something very wrong in being taught to fear and being controlled by the very thing that should be bringing them the most joy and peace; their relationship with Spirit.



They start questioning and redefining their relationship their experience of "God"



It is horrible to realize that the human race could be headed to annihilation simply because The Mainstream Religions disagree with every one else's experience of God. They have their own views, their own experiences, and they will not rest until the rest of the world is forced to either adopt another Religion's culture, experience and rules as their own, or be destroyed.

It is also very important to note that each of these religions is Judeo, Christian, and Muslim in tradition and belief and are evolved from one Patriarchal, Nomadic war like sect that roamed the middle east several thousand years ago.



Their experience of their God is that he is male, that he is unforgiving and will destroy any one who does not adhere to the holy tenants set down by him, to a small group of men. He is a God of war, a God of misogyny, a God that will tolerate no other Gods, or forms of worship. It is also important to know that these tenants and traditions were handed down to men, and interpreted by men, for their own agendas. you have only to look at the History of the Popes in the Catholic church to know this is true.

This is their experience of their God, and so they act accordingly.



Now, let me open up your mind a bit to consider something different.



Instead of questioning and redefining your experience of God, think about this...

Whats is God's experience of YOU?

I have always thought that "God" was very much like a Rose, that grew a nose to smell itself.

We are here because we allow "God" to know "God's" self through our actions, decisions and experiences. Since we are fully divine, the perfection of spirit in Human bodies, God can experience Godself fully, through the Universe that it has created, and that we inhabit.

So look at the World around you, and tell yourself what God's experience of Godself is.

It is war, greed, theft, indifference, intolerance, prejudice, famine, disease, and genocide.

This what the world holds up to "God" as a mirror.

We are the co creators of this Universe. "God" gave us that when our individual consciences were splintered off from the great collective IAM so that "God" might fully experience Godself in every way possible.


To make a real change in the world, reflect back to "God" what Gods experience could be...of you at your very best, your finest, your most loving, giving, and prejudice free.

In one of my other posts I suggested that you "be what you seek"

That would be a spirit of integrity, one of honor, of tolerance, and open mindedness. An integrated, fully engaged, reflection of that which we come from and will return to.

Be that person of integrity and honesty, in the light, yes, but more importantly, in the dark, by yourself, when no one is looking.


Would you like the Divine Perfection of the Universe to know itself as a liar, as a cheat, as one who stood by indifferently when the innocent were killed in a war they had nothing to do with?


To know itself as gnat infested death in Africa while on the other side of the world it threw away food, and complained because it didn't have a big screen TV, or the taxes on it's house in the Hamptons were too high?


We who are small, who are tiny humans , living on a minute speck of dust in the corner of a small galaxy, in a very large universe...can't affect much. We cannot stop stars from imploding or exploding, asteroids from bombing other planets, or the destruction of entire solar systems. We can't even control our own space trash.


What we can do is reflect to ourselves, and each other, what the very best experience of "God" should be, who ever , or what ever you believe that God to be.


Bring to God what is the best, and highest behavior that we as humans can be on this planet. Let that be how we define our experience of God.....through our own behaviours, morals and codes of ethics.

Be that which you seek.

Rose Quartz....The Stone of Unconditional Love

Today our stone of choice is Rose Quartz.

This soft pink stone is a message of love from the Earth and the Universe. It wants to tell you how perfect you are, how very much loved you are.

Its sole purpose in being is to take you back to the time before your separation from spirit, and from your own soul. To the time before guilt, before disappointment, before you knew you were anything other than a cherished child of the cosmos.

This stone works vibrationally to help heal any Dis-ease of the mind/body/spirit induced by poor self esteem and lack of self love. It directly affects the heart chakra, and helps to open it, and keep it open so that you may process childhood traumas, anger issues, feelings of isolation , fear, envy, neglect and depression. It can teach you compassion for others, by allowing you to feel true compassion and love for yourself.

Many times our lives are shaped by our negative agreements with others. Someone whose opinion is important to us, some one who we love may tell us that we are inferior, not good enough, not worthy of love or respect. Or their actions may send us the same messages. In any case, the problems start when we agree with them.

There is an old expression that I love, it says "there ain't no sellers if there ain't no buyers"

Bad grammar aside, we can hear and see all the negative actions and comments in the world, but they only have a "life" when we choose to give it to them. Most of the time, these negative messages start when we are too young to process them objectively. They also come from people we are dependant on for our very existence, for our spiritual values, for our education, for our familial love...the list is, unfortunately, endless.

From these negative messages come the ills and pains and sorrow of the human race. It is these issues that the Rose Quartz will embrace, with such love, such kindness and peace...that it's vibration is like a cotton candy band aid to the soul. It imbues a person with so much love and toleration, that it can actually reduce high level stress in the body. There is not a situation in the world that cannot be made better by approaching it with unconditional, selfless love and understanding

I have a client whose Mother was so bitter, so angry and mean, that she had driven away, finally, in her old age, every one who could have ever loved her. It was excruciating for my client to be around her, and she came to me one Christmas and said "I'm going to see my Mother for the holidays. What could I give her that would make her more tolerable?" We decided that a Rose Quartz wand would be pretty enough for her to accept as a gift, and even though she ridiculed her daughter for giving her some thing so silly and useless, she got into the habit of holding it at night while she watched TV.

As the years went by, my clients mother went through a transformation of heart and spirit that no one who knew her would have believed it unless they had witnessed it for themselves. She began to be more supportive of her family, less angry and cutting. She became more compassionate, less judgemental. And all the time she was transforming, her Rose Quartz was getting black lines in it, and gradually got darker and darker. Her daughter offered to replace it, but the Mother would have none of it. That was her magic rock.

I believed then, and still do, that the stone literally sucked the negativity right out of her, and held that energy deep inside it, where it couldn't affect her any more. Whether that is true or not, today my clients mother is a loving, supportive mother, grandmother and wife. And most importantly...she has joy in her life. The joy that comes from loving and being loved.

Rose Quartz is pure love...and there is NO higher power than that. It is what we were born into...and what we seek to recapture all our lives. Work with a Rose Quartz, and it will teach you that the journey to unconditional love starts and ends inside your heart and soul, not outside of it. Love yourself first, and you will always attract love from others.

Is it the Yellow Brick Road, or The Lonesome Highway?

There comes a time in one's process when one is so completely alive, completely awake, that every motion, movement and thought carry an amazing synchronisity with the rest of the Universe.
Nothing is too small or insignificant.


Everything has meaning, and a message. You will find yourself walking around in
that state of bliss which was attributed to Saints and Holy Men and Women through out the ages. This is not an experience limited to those who have achieved "earthly perfection"


This is the Divine connection, and it is for everyone and everything.
This is Joy.


Paradoxically, it will seem that the closer you are to your own divine nature...the fewer people you will have in your life that will be capable of sharing this wonderful journey with you.


One of the things I hear most often is " I can't relate to my old friends any more, or , I have to hide what I'm feeling and thinking because my family doesn't understand it."


It is human nature to push away and fear the unknown. There is always comfort in a group conscience, where you can "see" your acceptabilily through the eyes of the group, because they are the same as you. When you change that , when you break away from the group spiritually and philosophically, yes, you are going to feel lonely.



One of the sole defining features of a spiritual awakening is that no matter how much you read or study this teacher, or belongs to that group...the most profound and exciting epiphanies will come from the inside, from your own spirit and heart. That is why it is called the journey within. It is almost mandatory to be alone, at least philosophically, while you process and internalize this new and wonderful way of being. It is important that you truly know your own truth from the inside out.


When all these things start to happen, you will unconsciously be vibrating at a higher level. This will cause many people to feel uncomfortable around you. You will be different, but outwardly the same. You will find that many of the things you did before don't hold a lot of appeal any more. A lot of your friends and family will start calling you "weird".


There are millions of people going through this spiritual Awakening. Each journey is individual, and different, but each journey is the same. You are not alone. There will be times in between your Awakening and Your Becoming when you feel alone, but that is only an Earthly illusion.


You will find like minded people every where, but in order to know who they are, you have to put yourself out there. Don't hide what you think and feel. Don't assume that the guy next to you on the bus is a thousand miles away from you, you may only be separated by your fears of being thought "weird".


Be who you are, the traveler, the seeker, and know that you can find your answers and your support in the most unlikely of places. Be that person you are looking for, let your light shine out like a candle in the darkness, and you will not be lonely any more.

What YOU should Know about what I DONT Know

This Blogging world is very New to me. I have been working through my store in St. Augustine for so long, that to actually hear and see the far reaching effects of this Internet Journal is staggering. Thank you for all your wonderful comments and Emails. Believe me when I tell you that I hold every single one of you in my heart and soul.

This is a Journal that deals with Soul work, Transformation and Ascension, and Vibrational and Energy work. This is my field of channeled knowledge and the messages of love and understanding and one-ness that Spirit wants me to transmit to you.

Amethyst.....The Jewel of enlightenment

Today we are working with the Amethyst stone.

An Amethyst, beloved jewel of mystics, representing the crown chakra....is a stone that one will inevitably encounter early on the journey to self.

The color can range from light lilac to the deepest purple. The color of the Amethyst is the color associated with psychic abilities, wisdom and healing. The properties of this stone are crucial to spiritual re-awakening, and can help "ease" the path.

One of the most wonderful properties of this stone is that it helps you"get it"! The Universe, Spirit, your Guides and Angels, and all the many other entities that have elected to be at your service in this very special time, are communicating to you in ways that have nothing to do with the spoken human word.

Human language will always fall short in facilitating divine communications. Our language was devised by us to communicate with each other. Our thought patterns are limited to a human's understanding of his/her physical experience, and to a slightly greater degree, his/her emotions. Since we are extremely small and one dimensional, and the universe is incredibly huge, and multidimensional, obviously there is more to be seen, felt and communicated that cannot be explained or understood by our linear and limited human way of processing knowledge.

The Universe, and all its attendant entities communicate with you through visual images, odd occurrences, random messages in nature, animals, dreams, and in many other ways. An Amethyst accelerates your understanding of these seeming random events and portents. It gives you the gift of intuitive understanding.

If you are drawn to an Amethyst, you are about to be "bounced up" to a level that is actually an increase in your own vibration . One of the ways this is achieved is through the Amethyst's work in helping you release addictive patterns that may not serve your increased vibration. This can be , but is not limited to addictions to alcohol,drugs, sex and other numbing distractions. It can also be addictions to bad relationships, to caffeine, to being a victim, to any thing or circumstance that repeats itself constantly in your life and stops you from being the radiant, purposeful being you want to be.

Amethyst gives you the space to slow down, to recognize your desire and capacity for peace, for joy, and compassion. It quiets and stabilizes the spirit so that the healing process and the process of reconnection between mind body and soul can begin.

There are certain stones that I regard as "core issue" stones, and Amethyst is right on the top of the list. It is a major facilitator of the transformation process, and is literally the stone that will help you receive and understand the messages you receive from Spirit every day. It is your Rosetta stone , your translator, your teacher of love and compassion and wisdom.

Amethyst shows you the true nature of the divine self, and does it in such a loving and gentle way that you will find yourself applying a new found love, compassion and understanding to every situation. You may still have the old, self limiting thoughts, but they will be quickly replaced by the new, expanded connection to the higher self which will help you see the big picture, yours and everyone else's.

As with all stones, there is so much more to an Amethyst than what I have written. If you wish to add, or ask a specific question, please do. These wonderful stones can enhance your life in ways we have only barely touched.

You may wonder why we would need all these vibrations, all this help to be fully realized as balanced Spiritual/Human beings?

When we were born, we came into this world as perfect, radiant, joyful, fully connected beings. The process of separation of human self from divine self began shortly after. It is no ones fault. Parents, teachers, and religious figures can only teach what they have been taught, and they have been taught to be small, to give their power up to a disconnected God who gave us every gift in the world to enjoy and then wants to punish us for enjoying them. It is up to you to think past the smallness, and the fear. The perfection of the Earth has provided the some of the means by which we may do this.

The Journey you are on now is your reconnection to your own perfection. To the love that you know Spirit must feel for you because it is reflected in the love and pride you have in your own children, or any one that you truly love in a selfless matter. The first step is in loving your self. When you love and understand yourself, you can love and understand any body. You may not agree with their ways, or their opinions and beliefs, but it will no longer cause a bitterness in your soul.

Everyone is in a different place on their path, and they have a perfect right to be there. You are only responsible for yourself and your own journey, your own integrity, your own life. The only way to really teach some one a different way of being, is simply "to be" that which works for you the best, and brings you the most peace. Those who can see..... will see, those cannot see, will simply pass you by, and thats ok too.

Relax, Enjoy, you are right where you should be.

You will be guided with love, as surely as some day, you will become the guide, the gift, the love and understanding that you seek.

If today is the day....

If today is the day you woke up with another thought in your head besides the "gotta get up, get moving, get breakfast, get to work" thought pattern that most people have each morning, you might be really "waking up".

Waking up to the realization that there is a completely different life and way of being that is going on the very same space that you perceive as "reality". A connection with all that is, has ever been, and will ever be. A spiritual life that is so out of the realm of what you have been taught by your parents, schoolteachers, and clergy that it makes your conscious life seem like a dream.
So if today you woke up with yearning, or a glimmer for something or some way about which you know nothing, but intuitively you know everything...today is the day your connection to your real self starts. The self you were meant to be, the purposeful being who came here on a mission, not a sad amnesiac bumbling around wondering what it was he or she forgot.

In this blog, we explore your Awakening. It is completely personal, your own journey, not anyone else's. Do not be afraid. You will never have to give up anything that is good that you believe in. At no time will any "teacher" of true integrity tell you that you must forget every thing that you believe in to follow another path. What I will suggest to you are two very simple things. If any belief that you have makes you fearful, sad and small, then it is not healthy, and ultimately, does not serve you as a divine being. If any belief you have connects you with all other beings, makes you feel loving and happy, then it is healthy for you, and does serve the "reflection of perfection" that you are.

In the day to come, I will begin with the wonderful vibrational properties that rocks and gemstones possess. This is my own particular field of knowledge. As a Jewelry Designer, and Metaphysician, it has been shown to me time and time again how certain rocks and stones call to a person. The reason they do that is because they have vibrational qualities that sense a particular lack, or need. Their yearning towards helping you find your perfection and balance in the places where you are imperfect and unbalanced creates "the call". Many of you who read blog this will have experienced that vibrational communication, and the shifts that occur when one is partnered with a stone or series of stones that are helping you work on a karmic challenge.

Feel free to share your experiences. I ask only that each person who shares here, treat all others with courtesy and respect. If you do not agree with some ones assessment and experience of their journey, remember...it is THEIR journey, not yours.
Each of us is but a facet of the perfect whole of the Creator, but each one of us reflects the light given to us in a way that no one else can.
